Join us for an unique afternoon of creativity inspired by Nature and the organic form… Naturalist's Sip & Draw is a curated drawing and storytelling event for the lovers and students of nature, creativity and the Naturalists among us!
Coinciding with the end of the "A Tangle of Living Things" exhibition we celebrate the wonders of the natural world and explore the relationships between plants, animals, with humans, story and culture with an imaginative weaving of art and storytelling.
The carefully curated scene which will include natural specimens of butterflies and other spectacular insects, to natural patterns and organic forms will provide plenty of inspiration for illustration while storytelling will aim to stimulate our imagination and invite the creative muses.
Through visual stimuli, story and conversation, we aim to express our creative curiosities with sketching, writing or a combined art form while socialising and enjoying a complimentary glass of wine or a non-alcoholic beverage including tea, coffee, and a selection of herbal teas.
The event is suitable for all, whether you're an experienced artist or simply looking for a relaxing and unique experience; it is all about enjoying the creative process in good company. Simply bring your creative curiosities and enthusiasm and let your imagination flourish.
The event is also suitable for those interested in other forms of creativity such as writing, literature, poetry and creative expression. All materials are provided but if you are used to certain materials, sketchbooks or notebooks, feel free to bring them along for your own comfort and convenience.
