100 Portraits – Diana Milstein

Last week we were proud to host a collection of 2 hour portraits by Diana Milstein.

Local artist and creator of the popular character Ms Smith, Diana Milstein celebrated her 70th birthday by painting 100 of her friends in a series of 2 hour portraits.

These portraits of familiar faces were on display in the workshop space at Heart of The Tribe Gallery from Monday the 16th of May until Monday the 23rd.

MEET THE ARTIST

Di spent the afternoon of Sunday the 22nd of May talking to visitors who enjoyed tea and cake whilst seeing how many of the sitters they recognised. Each of the portraits have now gone to their forever homes as Di gifted them to her models.
