Shape & Form – A beautiful collection of work.

It’s been a very unusual time for everyone with much uncertainty for businesses but our decision to press ahead with our planned group exhibition payed off and we are incredibly proud to show such a stunning selection of work by over 30 Somerset artists.

When putting a call out for submissions for this show we totally underestimated the amount of exceptional artists that would respond and the decision making process of selecting artworks was very difficult. There was so much that we wanted to include but were simply not able.

Having opened our doors yesterday for the first time in many weeks, it was refreshing to be visited by old and new faces and to receive such warm feedback from everyone. Being a new gallery in Somerset we are still in the process of putting our mark on the local art scene and it is very important to us to feel that we are going about things the right way. We are very happy to be able to include the work of our directory artists and be given the chance to build a relationship with the creative people that make our community more colourful.

Our Gallery is open everyday day apart from Wednesdays from 11am to 5pm with late night shopping on the 11th, 12th, 18th & 19th of December when we will be open until 7pm.

Our Gallery will be closed from the 23rd of December and will reopen again on the 2nd of January.

This exhibition runs until January the 26th so there is plenty of time to come and see the work on display.

If you live further afield and are unable to make it to Glastonbury in person or are self-isolating, we have an online interactive virtual tour which means you can view the exhibition from the comfort of your own home.

If you would like to request an out of hours viewing then please contact kim@heartofthetribe.com
