Christophski
Christopher “Christophski” Parkin is a print maker from the North East of England. A life long doodler but having no formal art education since his GCSE in the late ‘90s, Chris turned to art during “lockdown,” exploring different mediums before discovering and developing a passion for linocut. Self-taught during the pandemic, Chris initially honed his skills by creating prints for daily art challenges on social media. He is a prolific print maker and continues to challenge himself to maintain a high output to keep that creative spark alive and predominantly works on a small scale to help achieve this.
Often “mashing up” concepts, and taking inspiration from pop culture, nature, music, literature and world folklore, Chris' style is heavily influenced by traditional relief printing, adding a refreshing modern spin that makes his work both current and nostalgic, blending passion, precision, and personality with a sense of fun and humour.
