Poetry Night

  • 74 High Street High Street Glastonbury, England, BA6 9DZ United Kingdom (map)

Poetry nights are back at Heart of The Tribe Gallery! Hosted by local poet and Elder Bard of Glastonbury, Beki Nagle, this will be an enjoyable evening of poetry & spoken word in an informal and friendly setting. It’s FREE to attend, but please RSVP, and any donations are appreciated. From 6:30pm – 8:30pm, Please arrive on time.

This is a great opportunity to meet like minded people, share your words or just listen if you prefer. Everyone is welcome, and you can bring a friend!

On busy evenings, performers are allocated a 5 minute time slot, or up to 3 poems. Spontaneous performances welcome if time allows. This is a popular event and we recommend arriving on time to guarantee a seat (up to 15 people), the audience is welcome to spill out into the garden area where we have undercover seating, although we tend to close the doors during cold weather.

This event will be held in our intimate event space at the end of our beautiful garden at Heart of The Tribe.

FREE Tea, coffee & refreshments available.

This is a monthly gathering, so do not fret – if you are unable to make this one, there will be another soon. Check our events for more information.
