Poetry nights are back at Heart of The Tribe!
When: Thursday September the 12th
Where: The Workshop
Time: Doors open at 6.30pm
Hosted by local poet and Elder Bard of Glastonbury, Beki Nagle, this will be an enjoyable evening of poetry & spoken word in an informal and friendly setting. A great opportunity to meet like minded people, share your words or just listen if you prefer.
Everyone is welcome – bring a friend.
We ask for a voluntary donation of £3-£5 for those who can afford it, to enable us to continue running these evenings. This is a voluntary contribution and we want to make it clear that you are still welcome to attend free of charge if you are not in a position to donate.
If you wish to attend please e-mail gallery@heartofthetribe.com with your name and number – this is just so that we can inform you if we have to cancel the event at short notice (this has never happened) and to keep you up to date with information and dates of any of our future poetry nights.
On busy evenings, performers are allocated a 5 minute time slot, or up to 3 poems. Spontaneous performances welcome if time allows.
This is a popular event and we recommend arriving on time to guarantee an indoor spectator seat (up to 20 people), the audience is welcome to spill out into the garden area where we have undercover seating, although we tend to close the doors during cold weather.
This event will be held in our intimate event space at the end of our beautiful garden at Heart of The Tribe.
Tea, coffee & refreshments available.
This is a monthly gathering, so do not fret – if you are unable to make this one, there will be another soon.
