Charlotte Pope
A self-taught printmaker based on the London/Kent borders, working under the name Ink & Burnish. She creates hand-printed, limited edition linocut artworks in her spare time.
Originally trained in textile design, Charlotte has long held a passion for art and design, with her creative journey beginning in secondary school. Though her professional background has included work with mid-century-inspired brands, her true creative voice found form through linocut printmaking, a medium she embraced independently, teaching herself the skills of carving and hand-printing over the past few years.
Founded as a personal and creative outlet, Ink & Burnish began partly as a playful experiment, its name offering a sense of creative freedom and a little anonymity. Since then, it has grown into a small but distinctive brand, known for limited edition prints.
Charlotte continues to build Ink & Burnish with a focus on making art that feels approachable, carefully crafted, and rooted in the joy of making.
