Inigo Rose

Inigo is an artist deeply respected by fellow practitioners for the integrity and mastery of his craft. Working primarily in true fresco, he creates luminous, quietly powerful images that seem to hold both stillness and depth within their surface.

His restrained, harmonious palette lends the work a timeless clarity. Figures and landscapes emerge with an almost meditative calm, drawing the viewer into moments that feel at once intimate and enduring.

Inigo trained in Italy, where he also spent part of his childhood, immersing himself in the ancient fresco techniques used in the era of Pompeii before AD79. This demanding process, applying pigment to wet lime plaster, requires precision, speed and complete commitment, resulting in paintings that are physically and visually integral to their surface.

His frescoes are held in museum and private collections internationally, including in Venice, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Paris, Australia and throughout the UK.
